ID Skates/Full ice development

We are excited to announce the inaugural season of the Foothills Golden Bucks, taking place this spring for players born in 2016 and 2017. These ID skates will serve as an opportunity to select players for the Golden Bucks team and begin building the foundation of our program.

In addition to team selection, these skates are designed to support the development of athletes making the critical transition from half-ice hockey in U9 to full-ice hockey in U11. Our focus will be on teaching players positional awareness, game strategy, and adapting to the increased pace and spatial dynamics of full-ice hockey. By providing structured and professional guidance, we aim to ensure players feel confident and prepared for this next step in their hockey journey.

Each skate will consist of a one-hour game on full ice, held at 12:30 PM on Sundays in Black Diamond.

Team selections will be made by our coaching staff: Geoff Rollins, Tyson Jones, and Adam Couillard. The ID skates will be hosted by K&M Hockey Development, ensuring a professional and high-quality experience for all participants.

Each participant will receive a jersey with a number for the game
